Every result is backed by assessment data -- ROM measurements, pattern classification, and quantified progress. No subjective testimonials. Just numbers.
Male -- 32 years -- 4 years training -- 8-month plateau
Assessment summary
Pattern 2 (Intact Lateralization [L]) confirmed with 92% confidence. Right hip abduction limited to 25 degrees (normal 40-45), left SLR at 58 degrees (normal 70-80), right scapula protracted. The client's squat bar deviation to the right was directly caused by the hip abduction deficit -- the right glute med couldn't stabilize the stance.
Intervention
Phase 1 (Foundation, 4 weeks): pattern-specific resets pre-session, unilateral hip work prioritizing right glute med, full-ROM emphasis on all compounds. Phase 2 (Accumulation, 4 weeks): bilateral compounds re-introduced with aggressive load progression (+10kg/session on squat once ROM was confirmed restored).
Result
Hip abduction R improved from 25 to 42 degrees in 8 weeks. Squat bar no longer deviates. 1RM increased 14kg without any change in training volume -- the improvement came purely from unlocking ROM and allowing the target muscles to receive the stimulus they'd been missing.
